About Vanessa Costa
Thank you for visiting my page and welcome to my world.
Since I was a little girl, I've always been creative and passionate about all forms of arts and expressions, especially the performing arts, however, at the age of 17, I ended up going to Law school.
When I graduated from Law School, though, I was determined to listen to my heart and follow my real vocation, so I went back to University to study Theatre. By this time, I was performing, teaching dance, and participating in lots of events and festivals.
Eventually, I became a professional dancer and travelled around the world to perform. Experiencing different places and diverse cultures has definitely shaped who I am today and changed my life forever. After living in several different countries, I moved to Canada and studied Event Planning at Fanshawe College to start my career in the events industry, not only on stage, but also behind the scenes.
I embrace my multipotentialite self. As a curious individual and a lifelong learner who wants to keep growing, I've developed a variety of skills and I am excited about working in multiple projects at the same time. Adaptability, time management, and critical thinking are my superpowers. I am inspired by new ideas, especially if they bring hope for a better world. I feel like my mission is to always do my best to contribute to the community, through small and big actions. I am happy making other people happy!
My career goal is to combine my experiences within arts and entertainment with my passion for travel, cultures, and people. I want to contribute to the enhancement of cultural events and cultural tourism in Canada. I appreciate the various forms of cultural expressions, through fine arts, festivals, theatre, dance, music, film, storytelling, heritage, historical sites, and food and beverage.
